Water Serviceperson - Wellington

About the job:

We are seeking talented Water Servicepeople to join our Wellington Crew of everyday heroes!

You will play a crucial role in repairing and maintaining the Wellington Water Reticulation networks, on a planned and reactive basis. You will also work with a team to complete reinstatement works and infrastructure upgrades.

What you’ll need:

• We are looking for trained Water Servicepeople, with relevant industry experience and the ability to hit the ground running!
• Ideally you will have or willing to work towards your NZ Certificate in Infrastructure Works Level 4.
• We need someone who is able and willing to participate in the on-call and standby roster.
• You will need to be physically fit, health and safety focused and work well in a team as well as independently.
• A full class 1 license is essential.

Traffic Management and the ability to lead those on the ground would be an awesome advantage in this role!

All preferred candidates will be required to complete preemployment checks to the employer’s satisfaction. These checks include but are not limited to, ministry of Justice criminal conviction report, medical assessment, and drug and alcohol testing.
