Operations Manager
Make your mark in a leadership role with your new team in a newly established Branch!
We are looking for a dynamic and innovative leader for this significant and exciting role leading 23 people within the Far North, with a Depot to be based in the Waipapa/Kerikeri area. In this role you will motivate and lead our people, as well as taking care of workforce planning and resourcing to service our Far North District Area contract. The contract area includes three communities based in Northland and above: Te Hiku community, Kaikohe-Hokianga community and Bay of Islands Whangaroa community.
As Operations Manager you will be responsible for building and maintaining a strong partnership with the client and management of the maintenance contracts. This includes development, implementation and maintenance of the systems required to deliver the contract obligations and overseeing the daily operations to ensure the branch is effective and profitable.

About You:
We are seeking a leader of leaders, someone who has proven experience in empowering staff and steering a specialist business to a successful future. As our new leader you will possess the following:
- Proven experience growing a business, key account management and the ability to think strategically and innovatively.
- The ability to relate to a wide variety of people; from field staff to executives; and a strong desire to get the best out of people.
- A passion for delivering quality service to clients and ensuring everyone goes home safely at the end of the day.
- Previous experience in Facilities Maintenance or Open Space Management industry is advantageous.
- A qualification in NZQA/NZHITO: Horticulture– Level 4 (Advanced) and /or Turf Level 3 – Workplace Assessor Primary– ITO– Numerous safety-related Qualification and courses are advantageous.
- The flexibility to travel as required to ensure this new contract is delivered seamlessly, new processes are put in place and to check in on our staff and any training needs they may have.
