Citycare Property is excited to extend our reach to service the Far North District Council and surrounding region.  The contract area includes three communities Te Hiku community, Kaikohe-Hokianga community and Bay of Islands Whangaroa community. These three communities include 31 playgrounds, 3 skate parks, 194 ha of open spaces (mown to a variety of grades), 9 town centres and 71 public toilets in 47 locations.

We are looking for a superstar Supervisor to join this new team in our new branch based in Kerikeri and help manage this large contract with the Branch/Operations Manager. This role is critical and at the heart of ensuring the efficient execution of our contract and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders. We are seeking a proactive and organised individual who will oversee various operational tasks, including health and safety management, contract quality audits, and team training. Additionally, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a collaborative team environment, promoting excellent customer service, and maximizing resource efficiency.

Our preferred candidate will also have:

  • Full Class 1 Drivers Licence
  • Relevant Hort and/or Turf Qualification - Level 3
  • 5 years relevant experience
  • High standard of customer service
  • Proven ability to lead, manage, motivate and communicate with others effectively.
  • Proven ability in good time management, planning, process management and managing and measuring deliverables.
  • A strong commitment to health and safety
  • Competent user of Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
