Parks Maintenance Person - Wellington 

 

Join our dynamic team in Wellington as a dependable and driven Parks Maintenance Person! If you thrive in the outdoors and have mechanical equipment expertise, we want you on board. 

As part of the gardening team, you'll assist in the upkeep of our parks and reserves, tackling tasks reactively or as scheduled, where no two days are the same. With the support and guidance of our wider Parks Team, each day promises new challenges and opportunities for personal growth and achievement. 

The successful candidate will have/be: 

  • Full Class 1 Driver Licence (Class 2 is a bonus) 

  • Self-motivation and physically fit 

  • Able to work independently and as part of our team 

  • Good record of attendance 

  • A willingness to learn and be part of our health and safety culture 

  • Knowledge of plant and equipment — as this is an entry level role, we will provide all relevant training
