Physical Education Teacher

OneSchool Global is seeking a dynamic and creative Physical Education Teacher / Learning Center (Study) Coach for our New York Campus (located in Airmont, NY) for the 2024-2025 school year and beyond.

Overview:

We are looking for a highly qualified and experienced physical education teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and working with students of all ages, grades 3-12. They will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging and effective lessons that promote the importance of physical activity and healthy lifestyles. They will also be responsible for maintaining a safe and positive learning environment and managing student behavior in accordance with school policies. The successful candidate will be a team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Teaching Certification in Physical Education (New York/ New Jersey)
• Teaching Experience
• Knowledge of age-appropriate teaching methods
• Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
• Strong classroom management skills
• May be required to obtain a First Aid and/or CPR
• Evidence of sensitivity and respect for others and a willingness to work within cultural boundaries.
