About The Role

Whitehaven Coal are seeking experienced Drill & Blast Operators to work at our Tarrawonga mine site to safely and efficiently operate blast hole drills.

What You’ll Do

• Ensure drill rigs, machinery and equipment and effectively operated to optimise profitability of the site’s operations
• Ensure highest levels of quality is maintained and report any maintenance faults or issues
• Work with minimal supervision and in a coordinated manner with peers
• Demonstrate visible safe working practices and a commitment to safety in the workplace

What You’ll Bring

• Operators with a demonstrated commitment to safety, a solid work-ethic and a willingness to contribute to a positive and collaborative work culture.
• Drilling experience - blast hole, exploration or water bore considered
• Dangerous Goods license 
• Live local to the Gunnedah area or willing to relocate
