About The Role
We have permanent positions available for safe and efficient Production Operators – at our Tarrawonga open cut operations. The role involves working a Monday-Friday roster, 10.5 hour shifts with overtime available.
Gunnedah is a charming regional town with abundant walking trails, fishing, water sports, and various cafes and restaurants. The region is rich in history with museums and Australian wildlife. Relocation assistance and temporary accommodation is offered with these positions
What You’ll Do
- Operate our fleet of CAT 785, 789 and EH4000 trucks
- Meet production and budgetary targets maintaining a high work output level
- Demonstrate visible safe working practises and application of JSA’s
- Live the Whitehaven Values and contribute to a collaborative organisational culture
What You’ll Bring
- A commitment to safety, maintain a high work output level and contribute to a collaborative organisational culture.
- Production mining experience with statements of competency/VOC’s for equipment
- Live local to the Gunnedah/Tamworth area or willing to relocate (financial assistance provided)
- Ability to work 10.5hr shifts, days and Nights on a 5:2 roster
- Current Drivers Licence
