REDISCOVER THE JOY OF TEACHING AT ONESCHOOL GLOBAL

Our vision is to deliver "a global education ecosystem that develops life-ready students who learn how to learn and achieve".

OneSchool Global New Zealand (OSGNZ) is embarking on an exhilarating journey to redefine the role of Head of Department, empowering educators to be responsible for ‘what is taught and how it’s taught’ in their given subject discipline across our 16 vibrant campuses nationwide.

As the Head of Primary Literacy or Mathematics, you'll be the visionary leader driving excellence in both curriculum and pedagogy. Your canvas? The minds of our students, ripe for inspiration and innovation.

In this role you will be overseeing all curriculum and assignment planning, assignment quality assurance and internal and external assessments. You will also support Campus Principals in their responsibility for quality assurance of lessons, studies, and tutorials.

We are currently seeking passionate and dynamic New Zealand registered primary or intermediate teachers to guide our high performing and innovative primary cohort, playing a pivotal role in shaping our staff as well as the academic journey of our students.

The successful candidate will be a great team leader with a future focused and collaborative approach to integrated learning. A solid understanding of the New Zealand Curriculum and online platforms such as Zoom is essential.

There is flexibility around location and applicants are asked to state their preferred location(s) in their application letter.

What we offer:

  • Competitive Remuneration: Enjoy a salary consistently above the state sector, including an Auckland allowance for Auckland-based roles and/or a relocation allowance.
  • Generous Non-Contact Time: Benefit from additional time for planning and professional development.
  • Cutting-Edge Technology: Utilise pioneering technology in our state-of-the-art learning spaces.
  • Supportive Environment: Experience the best of both worlds with small school communities and class sizes, supported by extensive organisational resources.
  • Professional Development: Access our dedicated Teacher Academy for ongoing professional growth.
  • Commitment to Wellbeing:  Enjoy a healthy work-life balance with no after-school sport or cultural activities required.

Our School has a clear vision, and our values are the heart of everything we do. At OneSchool, visionaries thrive, and passion ignites change. If you're ready to make a profound impact, seize this opportunity to join us on our quest for educational excellence.
